Yoga & Climbing Retreat:

We invite you along to a beautiful scenic area of the world, where we have organised spacious accommodation and will provide you with great vegetarian food, daily Yoga classes and guided climbing. If you prefer, there is the option to join without the climbing, allowing you the freedom to do what you want through the day.

The village of Moraira is along the Costa Blanca coast boasting clear water, sandy beaches and cafes. We love this location because it offers both modern convenience and simplicity of nature on its doorstep, where the sea and the mountains call you to explore!

Rock Climbing – Costa Blanca:

The area is known for its world class climbing crags, for beginners to advanced, there is something for everyone. There’s plenty to do when not climbing, the Yoga, local village markets, great walks like Bernia mountain or star gazing in the warm evening air. As well as our private pool you can take a short walk to swim in the sea.

The morning Yoga classes will wake up your mind, body and spirit, practicing to the light of the rising sun. This will feel extra special as it helps release any aches from the climbing!

All meals are included and prepared with passion – expect to eat delicious healthy food that keeps you feeling well.

THE YOGA with Rebecca:

Rebecca has a love for Yoga and Ayurveda, so the food and Yoga classes on this retreat will be infused with that positive energy. Rebecca has over 20 years teaching experience with weekly Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Yin and Pilates classes.

There will be a daily morning class, pre-breakfast. Additional Yoga/Meditation/Mantra/Breathwork classes may be possible. Please bring your own Yoga mat or let us know if you need to borrow one.

Yoga classes on this Yoga and climbing retreat will be complimentary to climbing; gently dynamic, building strength, flexibility and a focused mind required to prepare you for the day’s activities. When weather allows, Yoga will be outside. More about Rebecca HERE

THE CLIMBING with Paul:

Paul has guided in the mountains for over 20 years. He is a qualified member of AMI (Association of Mountaineering Instructors) which trains and assess instructors to the highest level found in the UK.

Paul leads courses covering a wide range from hill walking, scrambling, rock climbing and canoeing – through to navigation and advanced rope skills courses. The outdoors is his job but most importantly his passion, which comes across in his sessions. Paul’s teaching approach is patient, very safe, encouraging and calm. Expect to learn and have a great day out!

On this Yoga and Climbing Retreat there will be 4 full and 1 half day’s guided climbing, the remaining time free for you to explore other activities. Scafell Pike

Guided group 'Scafell Pike' Walks - 3rd Friday in the month. £40 per person - Minimum 4 persons for the day to run.

Scafell Pike – 978m

Come and walk Scafell Pike – England’s highest mountain. We are now offering –  Scafell Pike guided walks. Our route starts from Wasdale Head. Tackling Scafell Pike from Wasdale Head is an ‘easier approach’ and definitely the quickest.

Scafell Pike Guided Walks

Now offering due to popular demand, guided walks up to the summit. Because of the demand and for some, walking with friends or others may not be possible, we have decided to offer a group walk up Scafell Pike. Therefore for these days to run we need a minimum of 4 persons.

When/Price?

Our Scafell pike guided walks run all year round. Our day rate for up to 5 persons would be £280. Which if you think some other attractions in the Lake District for a duration of 2 – 3 hours cost around £70 per person! With this day you will be out for a minimum of 5 -6 hours = Bargain! A 1:1 or 1:2 would be £210. For our instructor/s to get to Wasdale Head say takes approximately 1.5 hours! And we live in the Lakes. On Bank Holidays it can be considerably more.

It’s in the name…

It’s meaning is said to derive from old Norse, and means the fell with the shieling. Or the fell with the bald summit.

Walking Scafell Pike commands respect, and with any mountain weather conditions can change when hiking Scafell Pike.  Therefore we will provide you with recommended kit list. On request, we will send this out at time of booking.

Due to the walks length, Ideally you should be hovering around, or at our Bronze fitness level. This means you’ll get the most out of your time up Scafell Pike. That said if you’re not then it obviously can still be climbed, but is harder and just takes longer.

Of course that said, we have guided people of all ages and abilities up this mountain, over our 2 decades of guiding in the hills of UK and Europe. Therefore you’ll always be in safe hands with our highly experienced and qualified instructors.

Highest mountain in England

is generally walked in the spring/summer months of the Lake District. Likewise the mountain can be climbed in the winter months too. This is a different undertaking, as the days are shorter and colder. Snow also makes the journey far harder than the spring/summer months. Whereby extra winter clothing is needed. Again full kit list will be sent out on booking confirmation.

Routes:

Likewise it can be approached by other routes. We can start from Brotherilkeld, near the village of Boot in the Western Lake District. This is a great way to approach but due to the length, adds extra time and distance to your day.

A similar route in distance, and one that is as equally popular, is approaching from the village of Seathwaite in Keswick, in the northern Lake District. This route leads on to the Corridor Route, a beautiful and winding approach that cuts through some beautiful mountain scenery. Whichever route you choose, or similarly you may want us to choose,  then rest assured you’ll have a great day.
