Guided walks in the Lake District
There are 1,000’s of options when it comes to walking in the Lake District. We provide guided walks in the Lake District for all levels and abilities. You can find more information in the drop down menus, we have added for you a selection of the classic Lake District walks Cumbria has to offer. Some examples include Scafell Pike, Helvellyn and Blencathra.
Any of the walks can be tailored to your ambitions and desires. Furthermore we take out group sizes from 1-11. Larger groups are fine, but require an additional instructor/s.
Hill walking is a great way to get fit and active, and can be done with very little, or no experience. It’s not just about putting one foot in front of the other. We will show you the tips and tricks used to make things easier whilst walking, uphill, downhill and on steeper terrain. Our guided walks will help you achieve your goal, and provide you with enthusiasm and knowledge to be able to get out there on your own.
Walking to Scrambling
The progression from Hill Walking generally, but not always, then leads onto Scrambling. Scrambling is an awesome activity that involves very little equipment and we also teach the skills required to do this. therefore it is better to get the correct training before attempting, as this will fast track you in the mountain environment. Our Scrambling page here, will give you some further information.
Our guided walking days, are open to all comers. Whether you’re new to hill walking, or a seasoned veteran it doesn’t matter. We have extensive knowledge of the Lake District hills and will share this with you. In brief, we guarantee you will come away gaining hill skills and mountain knowledge after being with us.
